In terms of orders dated 26.12.2011 of Shri V.P. Kalra sole Arbitrator, Markfed Chandigarh, in the arbitration proceedings of The Punjab State Cooperative Supply & Marketing Federation Ltd.,  Versus  M/s. Lakshmi Energy & Foods Ltd., Khamano, sealed tenders are invited for the sale of paddy  on as is where is basis of  crop 2009-10 lying in Bhambri plinth 6664 MT., Tehsil complex 5105 MT, Ranwan complex 3511 MT, M/s. Lakshmi Energy & Foods Limited, complex Khamano  9936 MT..

The disposal of the paddy is without prejudice to the  risk and cost liability which may be determined in appropriate legal proceedings including, CWP No: 21078 of 2011 filed by M/s. Lakshmi Energy & Foods Limited, Khamano pending in the Hon’ble Punjab & Haryana High court and arbitration proceedings filed by Markfed.

The above tenders shall be undertaken by the committee comprising of District Manager, Technical Officer and Sr. Accounts Officer Markfed District office Fatehgarh Sahib, a representative of DFSC and a representative of Dy. Commissioner, Fatehgarh Sahib. M/s. Luxmi Energy &  Foods Limited, Khamano may also associate  during the process of disposal of paddy. In terms of order passed by Sh.K.S.Goraya, Sole Arbitrator, Chandigarh to adjudicate the dispute between Markfed V/s M/s Shree Balaji Exporters, Retgarh (Bhawanigarh), Markfed V/s M/s National Food Products, Cheema Road, Jakhepal and Markfed V/s M/s Brij Rice Mill, Khadial Road, Sunam, District Sangrur, sealed tenders are invited for the sale of paddy and rice of crop 2009-10 lying in the mill premises. The detail of stocks, date and time of sale, receipt and opening of tender is given as under:-

The sale is being done at the risk and cost of the concerned above mentioned rice millers. By the committee constituted for the purpose by the arbitrator and the authorized representative of the concerned miller may associate in the tender proceedings. Interested parties may inspect the stocks lying in the mill premises of said rice mill/ complex on any working day. Prescribed tender form alongwith the terms and conditions can be obtained from the office of the undersigned on payment of Rs.500/- (Five hundred only as per tender form non refundable). Complete tender form alongwith the earnest money @ 2% of tendered value of rice/paddy in shape of Demand Draft in favour of “ The Punjab State Coop. This is in reference to the earlier tender dated 14.10.2011 for sale of PUSA 1121 paddy which are being opened on every Wednesday. It is further informed that at present 103483.95 qtls is left balance for sale as per details given below:-

                        The tenders shall be received on a weekly basis on every Wednesday by 2.30 PM and opened at 3.30PM until liquidation of stocks with effect from 4.1.2012. In case Wednesday happens to be holiday the tender shall be received on next working day. The tender forms alongwith terms and conditions thereof can be obtained from Markfed Head Office, AEZ Branch, Markfed House, Plot No: 4, Sector 35-B, Chandigarh on payment of Rs. 500/- (non refundable) per tender form. An earnest money equivalent to 2% of amount tendered, in the shape of DD favoring “The Punjab State Cooperative Supply and Marketing Federation Limited, payable at Chandigarh should be enclosed with the tender form. The tenders shall be opened in the presence of the tenderers who may wish to be present. Incomplete tender forms and tender forms without earnest money shall not be considered.
